What are your favorite cocktails to make, if any?  For the most part, I just drink beers.  However, I want to expand my amateur bartending skills with guests around.

Definitely, depends on what vibe you are going for - in general I recommend any drink with tequila. Enough to feel a kick but a good cocktaill be enough to sweeten the flavor. If a big group, make a batch of mangorita. Small intimate 1v1s, a tequlia sunrise.
