Hey guys, just wondering what do you think will be the first fields to be taken over or at least compete with all the new AI coming out? I think some are safe (doctors) but I am scared for software engineers. Let me know your thoughts!

Unfortunately data science... it already does 90% of my work (thast why I just play some games in work). The only field it's inferior in, it's analysis of gathered data.

Second what Kristin said. AI makes data analysis a lot more streamlined and I also end up with a lot of free time as a result. Beyond technical limitations, there are certain contextual concepts that AI probably is a ways from fully grasping. Like understanding why it’s doing analysis, the project itself working on, what managers are looking for, etc.
So it’s future is more of a tool to get a result than a sole-contributor imo.
