Is the switch from c++ to python worth it?
#1
Hello all, I have a question for those that have had experience in C++ and Python. Is it worth it? Like, a vast majority of my friends I've studied with have said that, to them, Python is easier than C++, more so because of easier readability.
Is it better for general and quick tasks? Is it more viable for writing programs and debugging? I'll admit, I haven't dedicated myself to learning C++ at home, only in class, I haven't even started using Python, but the fact that I even see some youtubers using Python for various dumbed down tasks for the sake of entertainment kind of confirms to me that it's better.
If you have had experience with both languages, consider answering please. Smile
Thanks.

Yeah it is pretty worth it in my opinion. Library is great and it is overall simpler

I’d be reluctant to say better, with how far along in your studies you are, it could be a good idea to switch until you’re more comfortable and then try and pick it back up again Smile
